What is White Kilao?
White Kilao (also spelled White Kelao or سفید کیلاؤ) is a modern winter confection made from three premium ingredients: white chocolate, fresh cream (Malai), and roasted walnuts. Unlike traditional Hunza Chocolate Kilao — which is made from walnuts dipped in grape or mulberry juice — White Kilao has a smooth, creamy, fudge-like texture with a rich milky sweetness. It is one of Pakistan's fastest-growing winter dry fruit searches, especially popular in Punjab, Sindh, and KPK during the cold months.

White Kilao uses white chocolate and cream as its base, giving it a pale ivory colour and a smooth, creamy texture. Traditional Ghizer/Hunza Kilao (Hunza Chocolate) is made from walnuts coated in grape or mulberry juice, giving it a dark brown colour and a chewy, tangy character. Both are delicious — but White Kilao is richer, creamier, and better suited to winter gifting and festive occasions.
