Our Story
Gilgit-Baltistan is one of the most extraordinary places on earth. Towering peaks, ancient glaciers, and some of nature's most potent produce — wild honey gathered at altitude, apricots dried under mountain sun, Salajeet drawn from rock faces thousands of metres high.
For generations, these products stayed local. Getting them to the rest of Pakistan — let alone the world — meant navigating middlemen, compromised quality, and no way to know where anything actually came from.
We built Gilgit Mart to change that.
Founded in 2022 and incorporated as Gilgit Mart (SMC-Pvt) Ltd under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, we are a formal, registered business with one straightforward purpose: connect people who want genuine mountain products with the source they actually come from. No middlemen. No ambiguity. No shortcuts.
